Photographer’s Note

This is a very old story. In the last years before the First World War, this building was a very important brewery. The beer was so good and sent and sold everywhere in the territory. But, after the war, the heirs fought about the property. And they fought, and fought and fought. For many and many years. At the end they died. All. And they had no heirs. So, now, the old brewery doesn't belong to any. And she is so sad. Just a gloomy ruin.
This photo is for James. Because he loves windows. Because he loves old stories and ancient things. Because he loves my place: Toblach.

Ciao ragazza.Sono sempre stato affascinato dalle vecchie fabbriche abbandonate,le osservo e mi immagino quanti segreti e quante storie ci sono tra quelle mura decadenti,di quanta gente ci ha lavorato e adesso non c'e' piu'.La tua birreria mi ha dato questo spunto,bella la storia e bella anche la foto.Solo una finestra di questo edificio giusto per lasciare spazio ulteriore all'immaginazione.Complimenti,buona serata...o buona notte visto che arrivi sempre in orari impossibili.Luciano.

Ciao Anna Paola,
le costruzioni abbandonate hanno sempre un grandissimo fascino e portano con se storie ai più sconosciute.
Non fa eccezione questa splendida birreria che se potesse parlare ne racconterebbe di cose. Mi piace il close up sulla vecchia finestra e sul comignolo che pone allo stesso tempo l'accento sulla particolare
facciata di mattoni.
Ottima realizzazione e bella dedica.

il fuoco distrugge le cose ma non i ricordi, questa fabbrica abbandonata e' molto affascinante come la storia che ci racconti, certo con la mia traduzione e' un po' strampalata, dovresti per noi italici metterla anche in italiano.....

ogni tuo scatto è un vaso di pandora che si apre e ci racconta storie di terre lontane, storie che potrebbero esistere in qualsiasi parte del mondo. chissà che un giorno qualcuno non prenderà a cuore questo posto, la finestra sembra quasi implorare aiuto, ma penso che ora sarà un po' più felice, visto che è passata una strega di lì e le ha scattato una bella foto.
