A lot of people who go to the Italian Alps head straight to the Dolomites and miss Merano in Tirol, one of the most lovely and beutiful places in the Alps. The nearby countryside is a paradise for hikers... and photographers! Here you can see the village of Tirolo near Merano and its vineyards, set against a wide valley. The photo is scanned and I havenīt succeeded in removing the noise without damaging the background, so I post it as it is. The light difference between the fore- and background is natural! There were some clouds in the sky, so the background is in the shadow of the cloud probably, while the foreground is sunlit.

Hi Alexander. I like this panoramic shot of a beautiful village. Wonderful curving undulations in the hills, roads and terraces, and the colour is excellent - particularly the warm hues of the roof tiles and stone buildings. Great shot! Regards,

You are right, this must be a lovely place to visit. I'm eagerly looking forward to this summer, when I hope to go to this region.
Well composed picture. There a great difference in light between fore- and background. Result of postprocessing?

Very nice composition.
The diference between the foreground and the background is unbelievable, but it gives a lot of interest to the photo.

A very well composed image, with some fine qualities!
I like the main diagonal, and the way the forground stands out to the back, giving a 3D impression...
Good POV making the terraces an important part of composition!
Frankly I don't mind the noise but maybe a bit better sharpness?
