Photographer’s Note

After yesterday when we had the first snow on the mountains, today was again a spetacular fall day... I had to leave work earlier then usual this afternoon in order to take some pics.

This one was taken from the very city center of Bolzano / Bozen (see map) showing the hills in the North covered by yellow vineyards and dominated by the ruin Rafenstein castle. Behind the mountains of Sarntal /n Val Sarentino covered with the snow from last night.

In yours picture is a nice contrast between mountains in back and colourfull hills in front.That building in top of the hill is lovely and,I think,have a verry nice view.Good photo.Best regards.Alin.

Wonderful picture!
What a beautiful mountaineous landscape! Magnificent contrasts of terrains, with vegetation - with autumnal colors - and with no vegetaion - the mountains in the right bg!
Sharpness, exposure, dof, colors and pov are all excellent! The composition is effective and quite attractive!

Hallo Günther!
Was für eine Pracht, was für ein Kontrast zum schon vorhandenen Schnee! Das Foto ist ja wirklich eine Augenweide. Diese starke Diagonale des Hanges ist toll. Ein solcher Anblick entschädigt für einige Tage Regenwetter.
Für einen solchen Tag hätte ich auch frei genommen - aber als Rentner hat man da so seine Probleme ... ;-))

bellissima veduta composta in modo perfetto. Interessanti queste forme precise che, insieme alle linee dei vigneti, creano delle geometrie che avvolgono tutta la collina sovrastata dal borgo. Ottimo colpo d'occhio!

Dein Bild fasst zwei Jahreszeiten zusammen und zwar auf eine Weise, die sowohl kompositorisch als auch farblich sehr harmonisch ist. die grosse goldene Diagonale ist wirklich praechtig.

Che bella prospettiva verso l'alto, verso il castello,con quei begli appezzamenti di vigne! Ci vedo un po' un quadro cubista. E mi piacciono i colori caldi.

che bella! Una immagine nitida e luminosa, nella quale i vigneti assumono un colore fantastico, come se un pittore avesse voluto dare alcune pennellate di giallo sulla collina. Decisamente, in montagna i colori autunnali sono molto più belli che in pianura. Grazie per condividere con noi questa meraviglia della natura!

Hola Guenther.
Soberbio paisaje con ese monte cubierto de viñedos y esos bellos colores otoñales, la montaña que justo asoma detras con el manto de nieve hace un precioso contraste. Un buen POV en esta captura. Justo el pasado Septiembre andaba yo viajando por esta zona pero los viñedos aun estaban verdes, no habia este bonito contraste de colores.

Ooops mi stava sfuggendo questa meraviglia...ci sono un sacco di foto autunnali ma questa e' una delle migliori,il contrasto dei colori di stagioni con il cielo e le montagne e' semplicemente fantastico.Complimenti anche per l'alta ma non invasiva saturazione.Buon Venerdi',LUCIANO

E' stupefacente come siano esaltati i colori delle viti; hai ben realizzato la composizione con la montagna ghiacciata alle spalle creando due piani a temperatura di colore opposta...

i am reading your note and smiling by myself.
indeed, the ebauty of nature sometimes compel people to enjoy it leaving work behind.This is lovely with the colors, very very autumn with the yellow and orange. The snow behind tells us about the approaching winter.
