Photographer's Note

To conclude this little - but slowly uploaded - series from Noto in Sicily, we come down from the elevated view of La Vecchia Fontana in the previous photo, to ground level. Here, on the north side of the Corso Vittorio Emanuele is a tiny piazza containing the fountain and the Bar named after it, which you can see in the background on the right of the picture. I didn't intend to capture the distracting tourists at the auto-bank in my composition, but they lingered there so long that I took the shot, anyway, of these two pairs of men discussing life earnestly with generous gesticulations.
