A simple and not so famous church in Palermo, one of those I loved more.

Following the Via Crispi in a southeasterly direction from the harbor in Palermo is the church built in 1576-91 for the local branch of a Genoese trading firm. This interesting Renaissance building is a triple-aisled, cruciform columned basilica, rectangular in plan with an octagonal drum-dome. The 1601 altar-piece of St Luke painting a portrait of the Madonna is by Filippo Paladino.

Hi Giorgio
I like the image and the simple achitecture.
I like the composition and many details like the doors can be seen, however the POV hides a the cupola. anyways
nice sharpness and contrast with the blue sky

Bella vista di una magnifica architettura, al solito deturpata dal maledetto segnale di turno, ma fanno uno studio apposta per piazzarli dove ci danno più fastidio?

Ciao Giorgio,
ho trascorso gli ultimi 7 mesi del mio servizio militare a Palermo, quindi vicino casa, ma confesso di sconoscere questa piccola chiesa, egregiamente ripresa!
Un bel POV davvero con vista sia frontale che laterale.
Vedo che non sei banale nelle tue riprese.
