Cefalu is more in spite of its size one of the points visited by the tourists and travellers who come from vacations to Sicily. Its landscape of small fishing port on the calm tirreno is often camping for the routes by the island, and its long sand beaches sea bream that extend towards the bays of Aranciotto and Settefrati.

To the hellenistic-Roman period the still visible walls in front of the sea belong.
