Photographer’s Note

After sunset, I sat waiting for this moment of light by a shore west of Cefalu (previous post). Before, I had been looking for the right spot to have a view that would convince me, walking back and forth many times. This search, setting the tripod, preparing the camera and breathing in the salty breeze...it all was a delicious, timeless meditation...
I hope there is enough for you to enjoy in this picture.

I used a skylight filter to reduce some unwanted hazyness.

Hi René,

Plenty there is! This is some of my favorite light and a wonderful composition as well. The twilight pinks and ever so slight purple hues in the clouds are excellent. Well, well done.

A very good image. I like the shaprness, soft light and slighlt milky effect of the water. I can see two faces in the rock. In fact, even better I can see two people. Nice one.

Excellent picture, Rene.
The soft colours and light, bring to meditation and, yes, we feel the salty breeze..
I like very much as it is (probably just a little bit of pp work, could have given some more strenght).

una foto davvero poetica! C'è un'atmosfera sospesa, è bellissima questa scena si mare e scogli e splendidi colori tenui.
E la tua nota mi piace moltissimo, ti immagino mentre cerchi il posto giusto dove collocare il cavalletto.
