Gagliano Castelferrato is an Italian town of 3,767 inhabitants in the province of Enna in Sicily.

What so nice are the shapes of the houses in almost same browish. except for some which are white creating such beautiful patterns. They make such nice contrast to the image. la foto è di grande impatto visivo, fin dalla miniatura: ciò significa che è ben composta e che gli aggregati di colore che la caratterizzano hanno un valido effetto grafico.
Aprendola si nota una leggera morbidezza diffusa (che non disturba, i dettagli ci sono tutti), dovuta probabilmente all'utilizzo di un diaframma molto chiuso.
Il paesaggio è spettacolare, gli abitanti del luogo sarebbero contenti se potessero vedere la tua foto.

Ma non penso che tutte queste costruzioni siano abbazie e non penso che tutti i siciliani siano santi !
Ma ben provato ! :-)
Mi piace come queste case si ergono sulla collina come se volevano tutte mostrarsi al sole. Come si nidificano nella roccia come se cercavano una protezione. Un villaggio incantevole.
È un buono mezzo di vivere "with an open outlook".
Hai trovato il perfetto POV per presentare questo villaggio.
Questo sole è apprezzabile perché la pioggia ha già fatto il suo ritorno qui.

la luce e i colori sono talmente vividi e piacevoli che non si può che rimanere appagati nell'ammirare questo suggestivo paesino arroccato sulla collina ai piedi di questo sperone roccioso. voilà l'emplacement qu'il fallait pour englober le village très pittoresque et picturesque d'ailleurs, avec ce roc qui lui non plus, n'a rien de banal.

I have just finished Guiseppe de Lampudesi's The Leopard - and combined with some of your wonderful photographs, it really makes me wish I could visit Sicily (at the moment, that might require winning the lottery). Peculiar place. I like the way we can see the way the village got bigger. The well saturated sky gives a lovely bg for the city.

The scenery around this town is absolutely stunning. You found a great POV for this view. Under the bright sky the town looks very colourful.
I notice that people have been carved out houses in the cliff also.

Hello Giorgio,
such a stunning landscape in superb details. Each and every part of it is so well seen, boxes of houses in defferent colours are really stunning. The deep and rich blue sky makes the eyes cannot turn away from such a beauty.

I Had "strolled" through your gallery, and found lot's of interesting stuff, this one is so typical and show how those s,all sicilian towns built as labyrinth, on mountain's slop.
Nice perspective with the impressive rock rise on BG, and beautiful colors on the houses.
