Photographer’s Note
Etna is the biggest active volcano in Europe(3200mt)
according to mythology it was the home of Volcano (greek: Ηφαιστος,Ifestos) god of fire and husbunt of Venus (greek: Αφροδιτη, Afrodite. Empedocle the philosopher (490-430a.c.) jumped into etnas lava, in order to become imortal, i dont know if he made it but 2500 years after, people are still studing his didascalies! knowdays you can just have a nice italian espresso from a bar standing at the edge of this inactive crater and enjoy the beautiful panorama, without taking any risks!
the photo is taken from the top of another crater and the altitude here is about 1800-2000mt over the sea level.

HAi Stratos,
Goed choice of you that B&W. I lso like de way you let a littel beat of forground beacause this way the eight is more visibel.

Hi Stratos,
Good idea the B&W shot instead of the traditional colour shot: it gives more power to this particular landscape! Very interesting also your note!

Nice capture of the crater and the cafe next to it. I like the desested landscape and the chance to have an expresso next to a quite volcano.
