Photographer’s Note

TO ALL TE FRIENDS:

After a forced interruption in May, due to internet connection problems, I’ve decided to stop my activities in TE and take a long summer pause like last year.
As a matter of fact during next months I’ll be most of the time off home, living on board of my boat, and so it will be difficult to connect to internet and more so to deal with the commitment involved in TE posting. Maybe I could have a look at my favourites photos once in a while during my short returns at home… otherwise we’ll see each others in October.
For that reason I wish here to send my warm greetings to all (numerous) TE friends who have followed my postings up to now and to wish them a happy summer holiday!

A TUTTI GLI AMICI TE:

Dopo una interruzione, a Maggio, dovuta a problemi di connessione ho deciso di sospendere la mia attività su Te e di prendermi, come l’anno scorso una pausa estiva.
Durante i prossimi mesi infatti sarò per la maggior parte del tempo fuori casa, vivendo a bordo della mia barca, e mi sarà difficile collegarmi a internet e tanto meno far fronte al grosso impegno di preparare foto e note per Te e commentare le foto della fitta rete di amici.
Forse di quando in quando, nei miei brevi ritorni a casa, mi sarà possibile dare un’occhiata alle foto dei miei preferiti, e magari pubblicare qualcosa di mio… altrimenti ci vedremo a ottobre.
Per questa ragione voglio qui salutare tutti i (numerosi) amici che mi hanno seguito sino a qui e augurare loro delle buone vacanze estive!

bene aspetteremo con fiducia come l'anno scorso il tuo ritorno e di vedere le splendide foto che ci proporrai,
per adesso ti auguro un bel periodo di rilassamento, non nascondo una certa invidia sai rimanere a Roma con il caldo non e' piacevole.

A last very attractive photo before this interruption. It gives envy for evasion and colors are magnificent.

Ciao Donato, I hope you are leaving only temporary. I have read that Peter Boeringer, Fulvio and Floydian deleted their galleries. I liked heir photos very much and it is a loo to our TE-community. i cannot ubderstand why IB is doing all this, destroying something that have brought us so much joy.

I hope that in autumn TE will still exist.

Beautiful varying shades of turquoise blue and green to this stunning bay that leads out to the lovely rock island and beautiful blue sky.
Superb sharpness and ture natural colors to this beauty.

A very good shot having layers of colours. The rocks in foreground, the two colours of water in sequence, the hilly green area in back and the colourful fantastic sky in background. Nice arrangement. DOF is great. The presence of boat added here life and motion. Perfect shot with nice light. Tfs.
