Crazy weather, a photo from Novara, Piedmont

Photographer's Note

The title refers to the weather we are having this year.
Where i like February has been one of the coolest of the last decades and in the same month we had yesterday 20 degres a temperature we are used to have usually in spring, so i take profit of the good day and went on Lake Orta a small lake in Piedmont North West Italy near lake Maggiore. The beauty too visit this places out of the touristic seasons is that there are very few people around.
in the picture you see part of the promenade near the lake.

Yes, we have had strange winter temperatures, too!
Your inclusion of the colourful children's playground adds a further impression of springtime warmth.
A fine pov with good guide lines and receding trees for a sense of perspective. You have good, sharp details revealing clearly the mixture of textures.

Hi Alessandro,

Punchy light contrast yet still with good shadow detail & no oe in the highlights. Good sharpness & the curving path adds good lead in lines & perspective. I like the repetition of the trees & their graphism. Tfs!

Il est bien difficile de croire que nous sommes au mois de Février en contemplant cette vue où la lumière et les couleurs pétillent joyeusement. La courbe est bien observée pour le cadrage.

Un temps idéal sans touristes une occasion a ne pas rater même si le temps ne sait plus ou il en est :-))il ta permis d'en faire une très belle photo de ce lieu admirable, vue sur les montagnes avec les arbres dénudées de leurs feuilles, une lumière et un tout beau ciel bleu, chez moi il est gris o)

Ciao Alessandro, Indeed ythe weather is rather crazy and always surprising. Going somewhere before high seasons begins is always rewarding. In summer, i prefer to stay at home. Nice view, I like the trees here cut in the interesting way.

We have to are satisfied with less the ten degree Celsius, twenty perhaps end of March, but this is Belgium and not Italy!
You shows us a very nice picture with these promonade during early springtime
