Photographer’s Note

A very happy day when finally I was able to visit my sister in Italy. She lives behind that building and that was a lovely day...the sky was so blue and the air from the mountains so fresh that I couldn't resist to take a picture.

Hi Monica,

Great shot - lots of vibrant colours. However, I have one suggestion to improve composition - remove the building and roof on the right.

This is best done when you take the photo (so long as you don't have to stand in a dangerous spot!).

If you use your hand or some paper to mask the building on the computer screen you will, I hope, see how your eye is allowed to rest on the main building and then explore the rock behind.
