That´s San Francesco! I mean it´s not him in person of course, but a statue of him. The saint liked all creatures, that´s why he is often depicted with all kinds of animals - birds in this case.
The mild climate at the North Italian lakes allows the growth of palmtrees.
I just played with the brightness and the contrast.

Hello Gisi. A great shot of this saint. By the light-dark contrasts everything looks like a shadow play in the theater. Truly original and worth watching.

Hello my friend
Images, audio, and comprehensive, and somewhat graphic art
You look very smart and careful
in your Teacher biography that i am very happy, but I wonder why we captured our ads
We're in the age of communication and information, as you wrote, and you wonder whether it is grown from iran orange, you should be aware of the safety of some cities in America, more ( fighting and killing school students America)
If you look at my gallery, you can see pictures of the glider, a friend was surprised, and said, we thought we would, you would travel by horse and donkey
I love to research on teaching in Iran, I'll help you in this case

Excellently seen silhouette, and a perfect choice in black and white. Both the staue and the fine sharp details of the tree look wonderful against the plain white sky, superb composition.
All the best

I love the composition -- the way the disparate elements are touching in silhouette! Good eye!
We are not religious, but San Francesco is our favorite saint. I understand he once said we should "preach the Gospel constantly, but use words only if necessary."
I think that is advice many people should take! ;-)
