A curvy raod leads up to this little village on the mountain with the same name, that as a "panettone" lays between the river the Toce and the Lago Maggiore. This Romanesque church, the S.Giovanni, with the early christian font is a extraordinairy peacuful place.

A very peaceful and refreshing scene with all those very nice green. I like the way you put the two trees at the side to direct and focus out attention on the buildings. The mountain cut the sky into beautiful shape. Excellent shot!! Regards.

Beautiful picture, Albrecht! Great vivid colors and good compo with deep DOF. Good idea to capature this castle from this point, with the two trees borading the vision of the castle with the mountain in the BG. IMHO, however, I would have used a different framing, that would not be part of the picture but an addition.

Wow! That's realy wonderful shot. It has a mood, very good and sweet. Picture looks like it's something about 15-16th century, not 21st. I very much like colours and contrast. Thanks for sharing it!
