Saluzzo in Piemonte was a metropolis in medieval Italy, due to some trading /transport routes leading over the Alpine passes from France. A Marchese ruled the area. It has been preserved very nicely, and lives a quiet life at the foot of the Maritime Alps, surrounded by fruit plantations. The town is often used as the scene for films i.e. about 2nd ww. The place is so close to look as it did in the 40ties.
There are mostly Italian tourists ... the food is exelent in this area. And the vine district, Langhe, is quite close

These place shall also are very nice during the day for to make a good stroll in the narrow medieval streets.
The picture is a little bit dark but we see the cobblestones very well.
Also the narrow street with the lanterns and I think the moon.
Excellent composition and good presentation.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice day,

This is an amazing scene, it looks almost surreal with this brilliant light. I could see this easily as a set for some movie (horror most likely!). The light glinting off of the stones in the path are great and you created a perfect lead line with the path. Really nicely done, this is a very dramatic and moody image.

Dreadful mood indeed to the point that stray cats themselves don't dare venture in this 'shooting location' for modern remake of "Jack the Ripper", the serial killer!
A well-balanced allover dimmed lighting provides the spooky vibe.

Here's another picture of very poor quality, noise and unclear and perhaps you moved the camera ........
