Photographer's Note
The Borromean Island off Stresa, Lago Maggiore, shaped and built up like a great cruisehip, is surely "over the top," pushing architectural adornments to the limit. As if to to take this one step further, white peacocks strut about freely, interacting with visitors and often becoming part of the statuary.
