Taking the lovely photos of Daniel Leung (titled “Where is he going”) and Norbert Woehnl (“Sunday with the pigeons”) as starting point, I introduce Milanese pigeons to you. They don’t give yuo any satisfaction. I wait a lot hoping in a great shot, but nothing happened. When he wants, Milanese pigeon can be very scoffing. A wing vibration, a plastic glide, a funny expression or something else could be ok, but nothing happened. Milanese pigeons are only spiteful. When you are going to met a girl or to a wedding and you are well dressed, here it is! A white spot materializes on your best suit. You look at the sky and see a malicious smile to send out. The balconies are battlefields, the cars too. They say that Milanese pigeons are dangerous for our health, but they are still here.
Yet Milan is still Milan without Milanese persons, but without pigeons would be another city.
Ciao Milanese pigeon

Great capture of these tourists with the pigeons on their arms. I'm always amazed when people want these dirty birds to land on them. (We call them, some times, rats with wings.) I especially like the expression of the guy with the blue hat. It's a pity, though, that the shot is a bit out of focus.

I like this shot of daily life. I like the cheerful expression on the man's face

A great candid action shot with the pigeons from Milan, Gae! Quite some activity going on with the guy balancing the pigeons on his sleeve (although I'm afraid the sleeves of his jacket might have had some distinctive gray-white spots afterwards). Good urban detail with the pedestrians and the fine arched building in the background. Well captured. - Thanks for mentioning my shot, I'm humbled ;-)
Added to Andrew's "pigeons" theme.

I like this because it brings back memories of St Mark's Square in Venice. The pigeons in Italy are tamer than anywhere else I've been. Like the ''blurred'' pigeon in flight but the photo would be really good if it was sharper.

anch'io la penso come te!;)
I like the movement of this picture, but i think you could improve your shot with PS ( so che stai imparando e ben presto ti vedremo in azione!)

Humorous note. Nice capture. They seem to really be going at these people, not afraid at all. And after reading the note and looking back they do have a sort of scoffing look. Like give me what I want and I still won't treat you well. I especially like the capture of the one just about to land and the one that just landed. They still have their wings out and you captured the motion nicely. It just is a bit soft. Nothing a bit of sharpening can't fix. Nicely done.

The pigeons are in all the cities in Belgium too, sometimes lovely, but not as my car below the trees and full .....It's a pity, though, that the shot is a bit out of focus Gae !!!

Funny of scene with all the pigeons, a scene full with life with a beautiful framing, pretty blow eye.
