Good Morning Juan,
There is something so wonderfully secretive about viewing a scene through an upper window. It provides an exciting context as well as a fine birs's eye view.
Although you talk about the cathedral, I find the interest in the patterns of the square and its surrounding buildings.
Have a lovely day,

Milan in your edition looks fabulous.I really enjoy these views through the windows.Excellently framed with great care of the symmetry. But I like the window also for another reason-it clearly shows the eye-catching contrast between FG and the BG and makes outstanding "opening" to the main subject of the photo.I agree also with Beverley´s opinion. As much as the Cathedral itself I like the pavement with its interesting patterns.
Have a nice day
Krzysztof (finally 2 days off:)

hai lasciato le prospettive con i palazzi moderni per dedicarti a qualcosa di più antico, ma il risultato è ugualmente ottimo.
Bella idea e ben realizzata.

This is another of your beautiful photographs from the 'looking through the window' seriese. The Dumo looks bright and sun drenched from your POV. However the depth and sharpness of the square below the window is facinating. The design on the pavement, along with the people there is clear and vivid. The make the scene lively and give the photograph a nice variety.
The frames of the window actually makes the total effect so much more interesting.
Its just my openion, but I would have preferred if you didnt have the name of the place in large bold fonts.
Thanks for sharing this beauty, Juan.

a clever and well conceived shot this. Great idea and nice to get a different view and perspective on this wonderfully beautiful place. A perfectly executed and presented original image.
Have a great weekend - Brian.

J'aime beaucoup le cadrage qui traverse l'image et l'idée derrière la photo. La lumière est parfaitement maitrisée même si le soleil est très fort à l'extérieur.

Hello Juan - A view from a window is something I guess most of us have and for those unable to go outside very easily, a view like this keeps them in touch with the world. People watching, a pleasant pastime. Here we see crowds, tourists perhaps, scurrying hither and thither like busy ants. A fine view of the cathedral. Your secretive vantage point shows it in context. warm regards Rosemary

The detail on that cathedral looks so impressive, and so delicate! I would be almost afraid to touch those pinnacles for fear of breaking some amazing piece off. The thick black frame of the window is a marked cotrast to that detail, and works so well, with the people in the square giving such great scale.
All the best

Monumental window views are always very interesting to see Juan, specially the Milann Dom!
You did the best you possible could, because getting good details from the outside, taken from a dark inside is not easy, this is a good attemp.

What a good idea to take the iconic cathedral and square through the window. Lovely detail with excellent exposure and sharpness. I like the natural colours of the stone peppered with colour of the pedestrians. Careful work that has been beautifully produced.
Kind Regards, Ann
