Nice composition that makes use of light and shade to create the structure of the shot. I can't believe this is one of yours though - no architecture? What happened? Did you drop your camera and take this by mistake?

It´s nice to change sometimes subjects of the photos,isn´t Juan?No architecture or reflections,but the view is magnificent.I agree also with Mike´s opinion,the light is amazing and has crucial impact on perception of this scene and its atmosphere.Foreground hidden in shadow and background so beautifully illuminated by the sun-attractive combination.

beautifully calm and serene shot of this wonderful lake in Northern Italy. The light and use of fg shadow give depth and real appeal to this fine image. Well done!

nice Lake Maggiore picture and view over Laveno and its surrounding mountains if you have noT done yet i suggest you to take the the ferry and visit the area(best of spring and summer) , good sharpness and light.

J'aime beaucoup l'atmosphère qui se dégage de cette image avec le bateau dans l'ombre et la montagne au loin dans la lumière. L'image est profonde et nette.

La composizione è buona grazie anche al taglio verticale. La nitidezza è eccellente e così puire la luminosità e il contrasto.
Bello anche il soggetto che valorizza una sezione del Lago Maggiore in una bella giornata di sole nel quale è possibile cogliere tutta la bellezza del luogo e degli immediati dintorni.

Ciao Juan,il lago Maggiore in inverno ha sempre il suo fascino,molto tranquillo e con tante occasioni per fare belle foto anche se forse le panoramiche non sono le foto che preferisci..eheh...ottima cattura con gran bilanciamento della luce,con la Sony non si sono paragoni..ehehe..buona giornata,Luciano

Un lieu que j'ai beaucoup aimé avec ces barques de pêcheurs particulières. Ces îles méritent vraiment la visite.

Also the mountain and the houses on the hill care for a attractive picture with the sunset.
Depth and perspective are pleasant.

Beautiful sky and feeling of tranquility pleasantly composed with the barge adds as strong element while we get to enjoy the well detailed island in the background. I love the coloring with dotted of contrasty whites on the slope, the shimering water and the winged creatures are real bonus there. Beautifully taken, Well done.

Hello Juan,

Although I apprecaite your architecture picture, this one has something special with this contrast between shadow and light and an interesting deepness created by the distance on the water. The alignment of boat and mountain is well done and in my opinion, creates this special mood.
