The statue of Leonardo da Vinci in piazza della Scala.
One of the most prosperous period for the city was the Renaissance, when Milan was governed by the Sforza Family which commissioned to many italian artists wonderful masterpieces. Leonardo Da Vinci's talent was encouraged (and financed) by Ludovico Sforza who wanted the artist at his Court (Sforzesco Castle) and gave him the opportunity of revealing his genius to the world. Leonardo spent the longest part of his life in Milan, giving the city a special contribute, not only in artistic field, but also in architecture and engineering.

Urca! Ecco la statua di leonardo come non l'ho mai vista.
Grande effetto con una luce molto particolare. POV perfetto con la statua perfettamente centrata (scelta giudiziosa) e il cielo senza la minima luce. Leonardo la merita. Complimenti!

I liked this one a lot. Not only because I'm an admirer of Leonardo, his art and engineering, but the picture is good. The statue and surrounding building were very well captured under the artificial light.
The monument itself is very beautiful. Maybe a little more saturation would improve the colors of the flowers.
Anyway, a great shot !

Bellisima fotografia. Hai saputo esaltare veramente questa bellissima piazza e il cielo scuro e' veramente azzeccato. Complimenti!
