Someone of you (I don't want to mention the name: Jorrit alias Proxilva!) asked me if I had occasionn to have a good light to take these flamingos. This morning I decided to try again: this is the result. Flamingos are having a bath in a very cold morning.
In front of Via Barozzi, in via Cappuccini in the centre of Milan, behind a green gate, an authentic wonder is hidden. A private garden completely isolated from the city traffic, populated by flamingos and peacocks. Listen to the sounds of this magical corner at morning in a festive day, when everything around is hush.

i see you found a good spot to make a clear shot Gae.. nice, with the leaves as a frame...
they're tough birds for taking an openair bath in these days.......and thanks for not mentioning my name...

questa ti è venuta davvero benissimo, bravo!!
I fenicotteri non sono sfuocati per niente e sappiamo benissimo quanto sia difficile con la recinzione e la poca luce...complimenti!!

Ciao Gae. You've chosen a very good composition here. By surrounding the frame with the shadows of the leaves, you create a "frame within a frame", centering your eye on the falmingos and, ultimately, creating a comfortable and pleasing composition. Nice work!
