Photographer's Note
The Milan Passante railway, is an underground railway which runs through Milan.
"Passante" is a railway modelled on the underground junctions built in West Germany in the 1970s, called S-Bahn.
The passante is connected with subway lines at Porta Garibaldi station (Line 2), Repubblica station and Rogoredo station (Line 3) and Porta Venezia station and Rho Fair station (Line 1).
It have a lenght of 13 kilometers and 11 stations.
Milan suburban railway network, the S lines, runs inside the passante; today the network have 10 lines.
In the picutre a view of Porta Venezia station, close to the city centre and interchange with M1 subway.
For the futuristic design this station was use several times as a set for movies, fashion show, tv adverts.
