great shot here.
I wish to also visit this place one day!
having all the people and all the birds around the bottom give life and interest as well.
Its cool too, how the church is so illuminated, yet the people along the bottom are in shade and darkness.

Always very hard to get a building into balance from a low position,specially the other buildings next to it,but this is done very well!

Hi Juan,

An excellent shot. Very good use of wide angle and also very good use of the lighting conditions. The Duomo is correctly exposed and the shaded area with a lot of people in silhouette looks great. Also very clever to keep every single person(and pigeon except for few very far away) inside the frame. TFS and have a nice weekend!

Not an easy task to show this mighty Duomo in full view, Juan, at any time of the day.
The golden afternoon light enhances the exquisite architecture's and many turrets it has.
POV from square's level scale it's size upwards.

Perfect light... The fact that the bottom is in shadows made the cathedral look extending towards the sky, almost in motion.

Hola Juan,
beautiful postcard from Milan. I like very much the light here. The crowded square is covered in shade so that the people do not disturb very much. The amazing light illuminates the spectacular architecture of the cathedral. The shades create almost three dimensional feeling. I had the pleasure to be a couple of times in Milano but never with a camera so I am glad to see this place through your lens.
