This picture was taken in the main sqaure of Mantova, which is a beautiful city in Northen Italy.
Mantova is a medieval city, and it is famous for Andrea Mantegna's frescos, which were painted in the 15th century, and which were recently restored.
This is a particular of a medieval tower in the main square of Mantova. I did not want to take a postcard-like picture, so I took a particular of the building, took advantage of the high contrast created by the sunlinght, increased the contrast at maximum, and then further increased it with PS, to make a sort of black and white picture, with this kind of graphism.
I hope you like it. If this is the case, and even if not, you should go to Mantova, which, in any case, is by far better then my photos...

You've created a lovely abstract image of geometric shapes in selective a most salient vantage point for your photo. The deep contrasts of the light shadows creates a compelling silhouette of the arrow slits. I have not been to Mantova, but I hope very much to see it, especially after I see this fabulous image, and reading your note about Andrea Mangegna's frescos having been restored.

Bella l'idea e la realizzazione, complimenti Stefano, il forte contrasto crea ombre e sagome belle e piacevoli.
