Photographer’s Note

This is a view of the Rocca di Caldè (Caldè's Rocky Cape) on the Lake Maggiore from the Lombardia coastline.
On the left side there is the Piedmont coastline (there was a regata), and in the middle of the picture there is the Swiss Canton Ticino.
I took the picture on the half way between Laveno and Portovaltravaglia, 7 days after that our son was born 10 months ago, during our first week end on the lake as a 3 members family.

Wonderfull place and perfect composition. It's a pity that the mountin (or iceland) on the right is rather blured. I've tried a different approach in a workshop.

Hi Paolo,
Such a beautiful snap. I am surprised it has got less ratings. Real beautiful shot. I love it because of the blue of the river and the mountains with a solitary hill in green in the right. great compo.
