Photographer’s Note
In this photo you can see the small harbour of Vernazza with two of its characteristic landmarks: the parish church of St. Margaret of Antiochia, whose minaret/bell tower I have already posted short time ago, and the Doria Castle with its solitary cylindrical tower. The photo has been shot at sunset and because of the surrounding high hills the lower part of the town was already in the shade.
You may find further info about Vernazza and Le Cinque Terre in the notes of the first photos posted within the same theme (see link).
ITALIANO

Hi Donato,
very original and fascinating POV on one of my favorite places here. Very pleasant atmosphere before the blue hour begins, nice light and very moody colors. What I like most is the fact that there are no tourists visible! My compliments!

Bonjour Donato.

Ciao Donato,
I must say that the colours look rather "specific", and to my eye this looks more like a drawing :) Interestingt effect! maybe it is because of the lighting... no strong contrast and no very bright light.
Yes, I recognize the church! it is very interesting to see it (as awell as the whole area near it) from this point of view :)
Very curious composition!
Warm greetings from Moscow,

Love the subtle reflections in the gently riffling harbor.

Ciao Caro Donato,

comunque e' sempre gradevole.

Hello Donato,
The muted light adds a special mood to the scene!
The fine point of view helps to create this great sense of depth in the frame, and I notice a few lights already are lit...
A bit blurry in the back but after all an amazing DoF at f/2.8...!

Hello, Donato!
The houses in the background painted with different colors are great, and with beautiful reflections on the water! The architecture of the buildings in the foreground is wonderful too, of course! Beautiful composition! Good job!

Ciao Donato.

Although this area is now in shade there is a tint of pink from the light of the setting sun, which gives an appealing mood to the image. I don't know this place but it looks very beautiful with the colourful houses in the background and the wonderful architecture on the left. Unless the old church is actually leaning I think there is some lens distortion as I can see the water level is horizontal. That is minor and can be rectified easily if indeed it is necessary. All-in-all and appealing image with a well thought out composition.

You have captured this beautiful architecture very nicely. I also like a lot this charming, evening atmosphere here. The last light is always the best time for a beautiful shot, and you certainly prove it. Great to look at your work, very impressive indeed. Well done!

Buon fine settimana

Hello Donato,
This is an attractive shot from Vernazza, where you have included the characteristic houses on the right and the church on the left in your skilful composition, not to forget the glimmering water of the bay. You have also caught the purple moment with its special light. An inviting photo!
Greetings from Espoo, where first snowfall is forecast for the afternoon. :)
