Leaving the Cinque Terre with the ferry, on the way to home in Lerici, with in front the tiny islands around Portovenere before the Poets' Gulf.
All the jewels of this 20 kms of Ligurian cost with just one ferry.

There are some nice blue tones in this shot which are perfectly offset by the brightly coloured buoys.

Very original vertical composition, Paolo. Blue, blue, blue...and an orange 'ballon' trying to make the diference..and a bit of yellow as well :) Beautiful sky, wonderful colors and good foreground.

amazing deep blue. The contrasting colours of the balls omn the boat and the splashing water form a very vivid pallet. Great idea to put that in the corner.

A very unusual image which breaks the rules of conventional composition. I love the beautiful blues hues with a touch of yellow and orange of the bouys. A travel magazine editor would love this photo! A great photo with plenty of room for the title and all of the text for the cover shot. Well done!

I love those bright red and yellow colours against the different blue backgrounds. The clouds pleasantly fill the upper part of the photo the cliffs in the back give a lot of depth.

As Stan says the 50/50 horizon breaks the rules, but does anyone care when we have such stunning colours. As we are talking of rules that bright orange buoy is on the perfect thirds place in the frame. Well done

Ciao Paolo,
la composición es buena y tiene un fuerte impacto visual gracias a estas defensas de colores del barco en el primer plano. Una vez superada la atracción por estos vivos colores, podemos entrar más en la imagen y disfrutar este magnífico paisaje marino, con excelente colorido y un bonito contraste del mar, el cielo y las nubes.
Es elegante y bien compuesta, me gusta.

The inclusion of the red and yellow bouys has really lifted this, and their colours make a great contrast with the dominant blues in the rest of the image.
I'd have preferred it without the coastline visible in the background, going for the totally minimalist look, but we can't have everything.
Simplicity itself, very effective.
