Photographer's Note
Portofino is a small Italian fishing village and tourist resort located in the province of Genoa on the Italian Riviera. The town crowded round its small harbour is considered to be among the most beautiful Mediterranean ports and became the Italian version f Saint-Tropez in France.
No house is younger than 50 years!
Portofino is a microcosm of wealthy urban life transplanted to the seaside. They say that even Berlusconi has his villa there.
The slopes surrounding the bay are covered in cypress and olive trees, and the beautiful footpath to San Fruttuoso passes through vineyards and orchards.

Kris: masterly use of the wide-angle, really couldn't get any better. This picture has alot of very fine qualities: symmetrical composition, great sharpness, etc. regards, c
