The buildings are framing well the boats. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the boats and of the buildings. The good luminosity is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

another lovely presentation of the harbour and quay of Portofino with great depth and many interesting elements that compose the town's recognisable and beloved character. I think that the element you have emphasized most of all in this picture is the light, so strong, warm and brilliant. The contrast among the whites, the warm and the cool colours is striking. Well done and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,

this composition is like a nice postcard of this wonderful village, in which we can admire the beauty of its architecture and of the port with the boats, in an effective graphical combination with the vegetation and with the blue sky.
The photo has a good aesthetic power.
A nice work.

Its a clear bright seaside scenery with bright blue waters, sun soaked houses and dense greenery. The photograph has brightness and clarity. (perhaps a wee bit over). The POV gives the photograph an angular capture of a crowded bay. The houses - mostly with light pastel shades of colour on the walls create a contrast with the greenery almost over them and the blue sea waters below. The multitude of yatchs and trawlers - all anchored exudes the lethargic siesta-time.
Thanks for sharing.

I must admit, Ike, this sight never bores me either.
The pastel coloured buildings, the boats bobbing on the reflective water and the alfresco cafes are a real attraction. I wish I was there now.
This is a nice crop, keeping everything tightly together within the shot.
My warm regards,

Hi Ike,another beautiful choice of point of view to take the paradise of rich men,the pic is good talking about details and exposure, but a bit undersaturated and whit a noised sky...have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

A pleasant postcard from the lovely town of Portofino. The angle of view is well chosen and the lighting most agreeable. The choppy waters in the foreground inject a touch of movement into the scene. Lots to see and maintain the interest.

Une autre jolie vue de Portofino, ces maisons colorées, son port entre la végétation et la mer, peut être un jour je verrais cette région qui me plaît beaucoup, en attendant je me régale de tes photos

Another very nice image from the seaside. The colorful buildings with the boats in the blue sea water look exotic.Sharpness is good as well as the framing of the composition.Well done.TFS.

the image has a good point of view, different from the classic POV.
However technically is hyper saturated and the sky is too noisy.
Have a nice evening!

Hello Ike, I find your shot a beautiful one, great representation of a special spot on earth. Many memories come to mind by looking at your shot! A vivid day when sun blends the colors and the shades, the little waves move the boats and take away the stilness. Nicely done!
danos (80967) 2012-11-07 9:05
nice the panoramic view of this section of Portofino, with its colourful houses to be a diamond of it.The dense trees behind the houses makes the scene so attractive and pleasant.
