The different towers from Santa Maria church are very eye-catcher, with their different shapes and features. All these buildings in full warm tones stand out from the blue background. Sunny and inviting.

Oh to live in warmer climes like here, sitting on the beach in February. I walk on our beach at least twice a week with 4 layers of clothing, wooly hat, scarf and thermal gloves! So spare me a thought next time you bathe in the sea ;D
It looks like it may be the last rays of sun casting its golden glow on the church walls. The reflections are also an important part of the image.
Any reason apart from forgetfulness for the ISO 1600?

Excellent post card from Italy! Your composition is great using the beach to lead the eye into the photo. The curve of the shoreline gives the shot nice direction. The well lit church stands out against the shadowed foreground creating nice contrast. The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and DOF.

cartolina veramente bellissima, in perfetta linea coi canoni del sito che ci ospita e che mi fá venire voglia di viaggiare e visitare posti magnifici come questo.
