Photographer's Note
This an angel from sculptor Giulio Monteverde. It was made for the Oneto family grave in 1882 and it's placed in Staglieno cemetery in Genoa. This androgynous, disquieting angel is a kind of break point between the vision of death of positivism and the vision of death of symbolist and decadent sensibility.
