View over Genova old town, from the Belvedere-Montaldo-Luigi, on Corso-Carbonara, towards the south-east, with theSan-Lorenzo Catedralle, notable on scenery, and port crane on BG décor.
A view towards the south-west, here, from the same location.
Attached is a WS more eastward view, on last rays over town.

A picture with a nice clarity. The use of a long telelens has rendered the perspective nicely compact. Good contrast between the red house in the foreground and the white rest.

A great POV in a extra sharp image. Great perspective on the buildings and roofs of this very built-up city. The exposure is well balanced throughout producing very natural color tones and allowing to see lots of detail. Fantastic job !

Hello Ike,

Great look out to the sea, captured at the right time of day with the nice, soft lighting to highlight the rooftop details . I like the many different shapes and angles. Too bad there's so many cranes in the background, but that's impossible to avoid around the ports!? Oh well, still a great image!

Hi Ike,

The distance between the belvedere anthe horizon is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the buildings. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

The photos from the idea of Genova view.
It becomes very interesting belt of fortifications on the hills.
Shortly photographed but a superb defensive wall.
In this photo there is the wealth of this city and a small example of the decline due to over-population.
Close industries and creating alternatives.

what a fantastic view over the rooftops of Genoa.I like this warm light here and the way you utilized it to give the composition touch of warmth and to increase the color saturation.
When it comes to architecture the city looks diversified in this regard so certainly everyone will find something for yourself.

the tight frame and bright light give to the old town a very vivid and vibrant aspect. The close interaction of so many angles, lines, architectural patterns and styles is most intriguing. I love the sweeping depth and the innumerable details spread all over the frame. The contrasts are well handled and effective making the view comfortable. Not a square-centimeter of grass seen in this busy scenery, but anyways its quite attractive due to the many architectural details that can be observed with a magnifying glass over the pc screen, given the high resolution.
