The panoramic elevator called Bigo, originally a crane mounted on cargo ships, has been transformed by Renzo Piano in architectural symbol of the ancient port of Genoa, offering a breathtaking view of the city. Going on this panoramic lift you test it a thrill to 360 degrees you can admire the beauty of Genoa from a height of 40 meters, offered by the rotating cabin and transparent of this spectacular lift.
rising above the usual prospects of the companion's voice draws attention to the history and characteristics of the main structures in the area: an overview on the history and life of the famous historic center of Genoa, which extends to include the 'now famous ball Renzo Piano, built in the heart of the marina, right in front of the Aquarium.
The panoramic lift, Il Bigo supported by, becomes a means for a guided tour only, the elevator car has been equipped with a sound system and panels in English, Italian, French and German illustrating the steeples, towers, characteristic slate roofs and ancient and modern buildings that emerge from the labyrinth of the "alleyways" Genoese.
