A typicall and common view of Ligurian cities and villages: a small lane that links the main street with a small square without a name, where there's the main entrance of some other condos.
On the sign there isn't the name of the street to indicate that is just a branch of the main street, Via della Repubblica, in this picture.

He he this one illustrates all the difficulty to take pictures in these italian villages, lots of shade and extreme contrasts, even though the overall impression is very dark here it was necessary to preserve the far end highlights and the southern colors there.

Good choice of a vertical frame. I think perhaps a fill in flash, & greater dof, may have improved this shot, but it's still a good daily life scene, & excellent depiction of the narrow streets. Apparently Malta is like this too. Tfs!

Olá Paolo, I like this original perspective. These dark alleys always attract me from the main arteries, when I'm trying to get lost in a big city. The arrow sign points to the street lamp and the vivid colors on the other side. Easy to find the way :D
