Photographer’s Note
Ain't gonna rain anymore
Once there came a storm in the form of a girl
It blew to pieces my snug little world
Sometimes I swear I can still hear her howl
Down through the wreckage and the ruins
And it ain't gonna rain anymore
Now my baby's gone
And it ain't gonna rain anymore
Now my baby's gone
Now the storm has passed over me
I'm left to drift on a dead calm sea
And watch her forever through the cracks in the beams
Nailed across the doorways of the bedrooms of my dreams
And it ain't gonna rain anymore
Now my baby's gone
And it ain't gonna rain anymore
Now my baby's gone
Now I got no one to hold
Now I am all alone again
It ain't too hot but it ain't too cold
And there is no sign of rain
And it ain't gonna rain anymore
Now my baby's gone
And it ain't gonna rain anymore
Now my baby's gone
And I'm
Here I'm on my own
She ain't coming back no more
She ain't coming back no more
She ain't coming back no more
Say what you will, I don't care
And it ain't gonna rain anymore
Now my baby's gone, yeah
And it ain't gonna rain anymore
Now my baby has gone

Hi Paolo,
This one is really amazing view.Love the vertical way of capturing this. The colour saturation is great, very soothing to eyes.Bit less in contrast though still its not any big deal.A+ shot.

Hello Paolo,
A very evocative seascape. Good composition, with the curving coastline leading the eye to the village, and beautiful muted tones. Very well done.

Ciao Paolo,
I see all of last week end did not turn out so brilliantly sunny... at least it gave you the opportunity to shoot this beachscape with a moody autumn atmosphere ! Composition is very centered in the height, but possibly this gives the warm contrasting village some more impact. As for the beach, there's nothing here to match our favorite island ;-)
Buona fine di settimana,
Jean-Yves

A good decisive moment shot catching the wave at its peak just before it breaks. I like the long sweeping curve of the beach, & subtle yellow vs blue colour contrast. Ciao!

Bella prospettiva e bel posto Paolo, peccato per il tempo nuvoloso, che comunque ti ha inspirato un bel titolo e una bella nota, complimenti.
Buon fine settimana anche a te e se lo fai buon "ponte".

Hi Paolo,
I like the vertical way of capturing this, the shutter speed has captured the energy in the wave well too, but try once maybe on F16 this better for the totally depth, it's a very well picture, you did very well!. Thanks for sharing.

hi paolo
With that title and photo you could for sure have fooled me. Good capture of the village perfect situated in the end of the fine sloped beach. Interesting light in the compo with the bluegrey sea and clouds. Good choice with the vertical format

I love the way you composed this using the shoreline to lead us right to the church. The grey dramatic sky makes a good background for the golden colour of the church. Interesting location for a church right on the beach - probably so the priest can order his flock off the beach in time for the service. :)

Ciao Paolo,
Saludos,
Josep

Italy is gorgeous, no matter if there's rain or shine. It simply is the most beautiful part of the world. This shot is a proof, dear Paolo! I like the kind of subdued beauty here. No flashy colours, no unwanted saturations. Beauty seen and shot, in a humble but most amazing way.
Ciao!

Dear Paolo ... I like the "end of the season" feeling that comes from this photo. People have left and what remains is a certain sadness that summer has passed. But as nature goes, the beaches will be filled again with folks. Really nice atmosphere. Have a lovely Saturday, Barbara.

Ciao Paolo. Beautiful mood in this one, and excellent framing with the diagonal of the incoming tide emerging from the lower left corner, and leading the eye straight to the church and village buildings. The heavy cloud cover and the limited amount of colors convey a melancholic feel that is well enhanced by the song lyrics that you picked to accommodate your posting. Nice work.

Very nice beach panorama, Paolo, the weather couldn't be more impressive and this seaside village - more lovely and better positioned in the frame, but I wonder whether some play with levels/contrast could have brought more drama here...

Ciao Paolo, As always you have an impeccable taste in music, absolutely sublime Cave song. The image itself is outstanding too; the dark mood reflected in the song is very present in the image. I can feel and hear the waves rolling in as I watch your shot; beautifully composed in vertical format and excellent colours too. I see you have been posting some of your best works lately and I have missed all the fun! Sabine

Ciao Paolo. What a strong mood fills this photo. What is it? A mood of dejection, despair, anger or one of defiance, invincibility? I am reacting to your juxtapositioning of your work with Cave's lyrics. Fascinating photo, fascinating song. Both full of bravado, and full of gentleness and hope. Thought provoking and emotive work. Bravo Paolo.Regards. Klaudio.
