Photographer’s Note

Yesterday, before coming back to Milan, we spent a wonderful morning on the border of a lake in Marches.
We had lunch together with my family and my grandmother, it was her birthday and there was a magic mood in this place where we were surrounded by a springful environment.
I noticed this boy coming with his grndfather and starting helping him to practice some fishing.
It was a perfect example to show my feelings in that nice moment together with my family.

great shot, the blooming trees are the essence of the spring, I like a lot how the thick canopy seems to shield the two men. beautiful likght too, calm and clear, with just the right touch of golden tones. excellent work, my compliments.

Gran bel colpo compositivo, mi piace la cornice naturale moolto primaverile, ma mi colpisce molto la costruzione dell'immagine con così poco spazio per il terreno, molto bella.

A very appealing view...
You've caught a peaceful atmosphere, the spot seems to be quiet and silent and must have been the perfect place to have a moment with your family.
Your composition is very effective, with the elegant blossom tree to frame the two fishermen. The soft light sublimates the scene.
It's comforting to see two generations sharing good times together.

I love how the branches of the trees frame the simple scene of the two fishers and the lake. You've composed it well so that although the trees take up a lot of the frame, they don't overwhelm the two figures, because they still stand out against the lake. Well done.

I agree this is a lovely composition, framed nicely by the trees. Beautiful lighting accentuates the white beach, which echoes the white flowers in the blooming tree and the boy's shirt, tying the while image together.

Hi, Giorgio,

This is a terrific photo on several levels.

The flowering trees in the foreground are themselves lovely, and they also form an excellent frame.

The lake water has a pleasing springtime color.

The placement of the two fishermen is excellent -- clearly an important part of the composition, yet not detracting from the visual interest in the tree frame.

I also like the size you've chosen for the fishermen. It is close enough to reveal the ages and gender and to suggest the familial relationship you describe, and yet far enough away to respect their private time.
