Photographer’s Note
Hikers in Monti Sibillini National Park.
Located in central Italy, this area is characterized by barren mountains, with almost no trees, and long ridges which link most of the summits, which are usually above 2000 meters. The highest summit is Monte Vettore, about 2450 meters high.
Any season is peculiar. This one was taken in august.
In winter everything you see here is white.

Hello Stefano,
A place in Italy I do not know.
I like this kind of photo with a large deepness. In this way the placement of the ridge is very important.
Nice to have the hikers in foreground giving human touch, scale and touches of vivid colors.
Yves.

Hi Stefano
These mountains with the contrasting green and white make a great backdrop for the walkers. I find the composition very original. The fact that the summit is in the shade, makes it a stronger focal point.

Hi Stefano, this is a place I have never heard of, and now another part of Italy to put on the list of places to visit. I like the changing textures in the hills and the hikers really give us scale and dyanamism. TFs, Lisa
