Marcheshire? Photo

Photographer’s Note

It seems that in last years many foreign visitors discover my birth region, Le marche, more or less what happened years ago with Chianti, called "Chiantishire" in a shortname resuming this foreign passion for it.
When I come back there to visit my parents I find often many foreignerg, mainly dutch and british who bought and restored old country homes...maybe this one will have the same destiny in the future?

mi piace questa immagine con la leggera foschia di fondo e il casolare quasi che fosse un isola al centro di questo mare di verde.
Campagna italiana che dà sempre buoni risultati in termini di resa fotografica

This is a real palace!!! Fantastic place, great photo, great "blending" of nature and architecture, very representative photo from this special place in Italy! The "central" composition works perfectly well here, great light managment and colours, I just would like a liiiitle bit more contrast! Congratulations!

Giorgio,

I like how the lines of the mowed fields are perpindicular to the linesof the hills dotted with trees. The lonely house in the middle is very intriguing.

I would recommend not centering the house in the photo. Have a look at my workshop.

wonderfully composed with the layers of green and the centered home .. the greens (so full of life) interact in a thoughtful way with the empty and old home .. maybe a touch more contrast .. very nice image. take care, John

the air itself looks green...
hills are dynamic, all trees are well composed on those,
and this house looks the ruler of all in the center of green earth.

The lines in the field makes an intriguing pattern, leading up to and concentrating attention on the old house!
The fading hills create a good feeling of depth...
