pitty for out focus on these women... but may be, of course, you had wanted this focus on man, the boss with a strong glance behind workers women...? i put a yellow only... but i am sure you are ok by my honesty??

So far, it seems that it's only you, George ;-) Most of us can't work in these conditions and you know that - just look at the gallery. Just a few can work from a close approach like you. The others are like me and give up, or pretend that are taking the photo to the dog from a distance :) You surely got nervous here and didn't perform well because it's oof. Or may be it isn't....I don't know, I'm confused. May be you pretended to be photographing the girls and got him well right on the corner. What the hell do I know? I'm just an amateur :)))

focusing? why in this way?
i may try to understand your quest for something "original", something that stands out...
i may accept that you break the rules...
i might even share most of your projects... but if there is one that does not "talk" to me - i feel uncomfortable... highly... as - you being a top class photog of this site - you set the standards... and this photo i do not read, i do not want it to be the standard...
(and jurek, for god's sake - nie mów mi że pamiętasz, jaki był twój zamysł 27 lat temu jak robiłes to zdjęcie... chyba, że się mylę...)

ale daję te dwa punkciory, skoro tak ma być, za odwagę w chęci przewalczenia czegoś "innego", chociaz osobiscie się z tym pomysłem nie utożsamiam (a co tam, stac mnie na 20 punkciorów dziennie, haha, bogatym jest....:-))

Dear George,

HIS looks maybe the decisive fact, in one sense of the frame concept.
But that screams loud.... where the entire world witnesses a different volcanic eruption from you..
Focus on the subject, or not , is not the matter here... it lies close, where you tried to balance the emotional calmness, and the deep concentration we all need... and that's given the laugh(or is that George's smile) to its sense.
Let me take from you, this conceptual vision, and do it, in my way... when i get a cam to shoot again.. because I don't have one.. and I love to learn, and learn.. and shoot..

One thing is certain, your photos leave no one indifferent !
These days, I arrive in your gallery with a smile and often, like with this one, I start LaughingOL after just a few seconds - these photos have a something, I cannot just say what but here, the way "they" look at you, the way you present the image, the choice of focus...

You'll never finish amazing me !
Not your best IMO but I like it too - in fact, provided it's not about things, I'm ready for any-thing !

Keep running the streets, George, never forget your camera(s) and of course, keep posting !

Idea kadru jest swietna, naprawde swietna. Przeslanie niestety malo czytelne. Calos z polemika z panem Jerzym B. cudowna. I nie pisze tego z przekasem. Ogromnie mi sie podoba.

Ciekawskie zdjęcie. Budzi niepokój - to oczywiste - jakżeby mogło nie budzić z tym stalinopodobnym facetem za trzema proletariuszkami w fartuchach... Mam wrażenie, że za bardzo sobie go do serca bierzesz, znaczy, że on nad tymi kobietami jakaś władzę tajemną sprawuje i Ciebie lustruje tylko pod tym względem, czy mu się w to namiestnictwo nie wtrącasz ;)))

i see, i see, george. you were taking a photo of these nice ladies, but the concerned boss stole your focus... right? ;)) as someone mentions here: your fotos surely do not leave us indifferent. my hat off to that!

The observer is the hero, and he is in focus, others are blurred.
He may be thrown aside, but this works well to increase the intended "hidden observer" effect. I don't get what the big deal the debates are all about...

Lekko polterowata produkcja ;).
Jest w tym cos filmowego, przedwojennego, wojennego...Nie wiem, jak to okreslic, ale takie asocjacje wywoluje...
