[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Marcus Aurelius on horseback in the Capitolium Museum in Rome. A replica from the 19th century stands proudly in the forcourt of the museum on the Capitoline hill.

Dubbed as the last of the Five Golden Emperors(Nerva, Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius and Marcus Aurelius), Marcus Aurelius ruled the Roman empire from AD161 to 180 and his famous Meditations are still highly regarded as philosophical masterpieces.

This statue ignites overwhelming power and from its high podium it is a sight that cannot be passed by. The rule of Marcus Aurelius and his strength and power are beautifully articulated in this stunning and strong statue
