Photographer's Note
The Capitoline Hill, between the Forum and the Campus Martius, is one of the seven hills of Rome. It was the citadel (equivalent of the ancient Greek acropolis) of the earliest Romans. By the 16th century, Capitolinus had become Capitolino in Italian, with the alternative Campidoglio stemming from Capitolium. The English word capitol derives from Capitoline. The Capitoline contains few ancient ground-level ruins, as they are almost entirely covered up by Medieval and Renaissance palaces (now housing the Capitoline Museums) that surround a piazza, a significant urban plan designed by Michelangelo.

Hi Daniel
highly original POV and composition this. I love it! It gives us a subtle and tantalising glimpse of the city with a beautifully textured and lit fg. Excellent and imaginatively presented.
Regards - Brian.

Bonjour Daniel,
Une composition originale. Une plongée vers la lumière en arrière pan en passant par l'ombre du mur de pierres sur la gauche.

Hi Daniel.
A wonderful composition, I like the POV chosen, these walls in the foreground and background of the city, up the hill, I like that cut diagonally from the shadow of the image.
The coloring is fantastic, just like the good sharpness, nice and suitable framework that enhances the image.
Have a great evening.
Best regards.
Luis.

Hello Daniel,
The vertical format vertically divided into a 50/50 composition is very original, together with the diagonal shadow which further accentuate the dynamism of the composition. The distant view is beautifully compressed in between the trees on the right side and the vertical wall, which makes the distant view ever more precious to appreciate. The texture of the photo is another element of this image not to be missed. From the tiniest scale of the textures to the distant view, the image carries a great depth. This is indeed a very intriguing image.
With my very best regards,
Have very pleasant days ahead, Daniel
Nobu.

Ciao Daniel,

Hello Daniel,
Original composition with this almost half-half sharing. At the end, the opening on the far street and houses in background is sharing a great depth feeling.
