Not far from Piazza del Duomo stands the old medieval quarter, preserved almost intact, San Pellegrino: here we find many homes with profferlo, the stair-case typical of Viterbo.

Magnifica inquadratura! Bello lo scorcio visto da sotto l'arco, perfetta l'esposizione che anche se in controluce non lascia zone troppo scure!(il sotto dell'arco ad es.)Bella anche quella "botta" di luce sulla strada!

Buonasera Silvio,
hai scelto il miglior punto di vista per presentare l' architettura particolare di questo sito. Lo sguardo si fa guidare attraverso i due archi e le due corti fino a fermarsi sopra la porta, ottima prospettiva. Si includono molti particolari dello stile architettonico chiarissimi. Il punto di vista e la luce che accarezza la composizione producono un' atmosfera tranquilla e piacevole.

The composition is very attractive and well framed by the archway. You have managed the exposure reasonably well in difficult conditions. I like the long perspective through the archway into the far courtyard. Good rendering of the architectural detail.

The old walls, stone floors, light and shadows, and the excellent preservation collaborate to make it a veritable stage set for an opera, perhaps "Tosca," or "Lucia di Lammermoor."
