Photographer’s Note
The Papal Basilica of Saint Peter (Latin: Basilica Sancti Petri), officially known in Italian as the Basilica Papale di San Pietro in Vaticano and commonly known as St. Peter's Basilica, is located within the Vatican City. St. Peter's has the largest interior of any Christian church in the world, holding 60,000 people. It is regarded as one of the holiest Christian sites and has been described as "holding a unique position in the Christian world" and as "the greatest of all churches of Christendom". In Catholic tradition, it is the burial site of its namesake Saint Peter, who was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus and, according to tradition, first Bishop of Rome and therefore first in the line of the papal succession.

Hello Philip
Fine exposure here! Handheld or with tripod? Like the two beacons of light through the windows, crossing the central dome. Fine details in the shade as well!

Bonjour Philip
Un très joli cliché de cette superbe nef. On a l'impression que la lumière divine illumine la voute. Ce n'était pas facile à réaliser et tu t'en sors bien.
Je te souhaite une bonne journée.

Hello Philip,
Ray lights are always good subject for photo, but even more here with the very good management of the exposure. Nice you succeeded to balance the outside light with the inner of the Basilica.

Hi Philip,
Very effective use of super wide angle. Whole view is full of details. And rays of sun going through the dome are clear and impressive. Well done on low light.

Philip,
This is a great shot of St. Peters! You captured the lighting perfectly getting the streaks of sunlight coming in through the upper windows. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail.

Hi Philip
Great lights on the top, very rich decor.
Your point of view is very good and good management of lights exposure.
It's possible to make a stitch with several pictures for having a better perspective.

Hi Philip,
A great composition here, and those rays of light look like laser beams. Excellent control of the light in the shadows.
