I had a chance to go to Vatican and itīs beautiful gardens for a couple of times. It is hard to plan taking photos there, because visitor entrances are possible only until noon or so and therefore the sun always shines from the same side. In the afternoon the gardens are limited for Vatican "staff" only. Besides that, without permission and accompaniment of "approved" person it is not possible to get there at all.
On this photo, one of Vatican radio transmitters is shown. Flagrant contracts appear here and there: beautiful gardens versus monstrous transmitter and jammer constructions and huge satellite dishes.
Offices and studios of Radio Vatican are located at Piazza Pia, behind the corner of the foot of via della Conciliazione. Slovak office offers a good view at Castel SantīAngelo. |
