The films of the neorealismo of the years of the post-war period show us the landscapes of one zone not built up in proximity of the plants of Cinecittà. Often, on the background of the scenes the cupola of the near church of Saint Giovanni bosco(Don bosco), then still solitary in means the campaign. In fact, the quarter was constructed in maximum part in the years fifty also thanks to the participation of the Ina-House. The birth of the quarter was continuation from one slow increase of infrastructures. The zone was, since the beginning, plagued from problems of small crime and conflicts between the inhabitants of the quarter and those of the Rom takeovers it originally situates near the aqueducts and the railroads (problems of the rest never completely resolved). Near the park it was completed, between the years sixty and years seventy, the construction of the church of Saint Policarpo . In 1980 pushed consisting to the city development was given from the opening of the line To of the metropolitan of Rome, of great importance for the quarter. The completion of the jobs happened after decades of interruptions and controversies. A ten of later years has had an ulterior development, which had to lodevole effort of valorization of the park of via Lemonia (Park of the Aqueducts).

Hi Giorgio :
Great composition and subject as well. If only you could have had a ray of sun over the stones...I think the top of the clouds are a bit too bright and disturb our eyes. Anyway the shot is good.

I like how you composed the elements in this shot. The green of the grass mixed with the blue of the sky; and the grey of the acient stone in the middle. But i think is a little underexposed and it needs more sharp. Nice work anyway Giorgio.
