The amazing view from the Palatino, with the Roman Forum at right and the Vittorio War memorial top left with its winged horses statues either side.. An eclectic mix of architecture from all eras harmoniously blended. The fine sunny day helped a lot too with a clear blue sky and wonderful, bright lighting.

Going to be the first to comment your capture?
Proud of it
And yes, quite true, from this high point of view Roman architecture is a true mix of architecture stiles, to begin and end with Victorio Memorial ( dont like it at all)
Never saw such an original panoramic of building with touchs of green vegetation to add contrast, as long as the very blue sky
Well done, tfs
Cheers and enjoy Sunday

An amazing scene through the ages in such a tight area. Got to love that the old buildings on the right are still allowed to stand in the memory of Rome's past history.

The wideness of the scene is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and the colors of the different buildings. The good luminosity is bringing ourt the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Belle vue d'ensemble sur le forum romain. J'avoue ne pas être fan de ce mémorial Vittorio que je trouve un peu saugrenu au milieu de ces ruines!

It was a bright and clear day, and you had used this superbly to show the Roma cityscape from the height of the Palatino.
Old architecture mingled with new, brown combined green and the white Vitorio-Emanuelle monument risrs on the far side.
Fine shot, well done on technical's.

A fine perspective over the Eternal City with much to see and keep the viewer occupied. The ideal is excellent and the image is well lit with very good colours and sharpness.

A very good capture of the combination of the old and the new. Roof gardens are becoming popular in some parts of the U.S. It's amazing to see ruins in the middle of the city surrounded by modern buildings. Good lighting and sharp details. Well done, tfs.

bellissimo pov, molti dei monumenti più importanti di questa città sono in questa foto.
Roma ne ha veramente molti ed è impossibile condensarli.
Uno splendido panorama e una bella condivisione.

this high POV resulted in very good perspective and the view is stunning. Good decision to use wide angle to show so much of it. The architecture is wonderful and beautifully captured with saturated colors and well managed light.
Thanks for sharing

this view is really stunning, so rich, interesting and attractive. So much history in this frame, there must be volumes dedicated to most of the buildings we see here. I'm mesmerized by the details, the light and the colours. How great it must be to live in one of the apartments on the left! A marvelous presentation, congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

A sharp, pleasant postcard with deep but realistic colors taken from an excellent vantage point. An excellent entry for TE!

well I have to say, after just visiting about 12 cities in Italy, Rome is still my favorite.
we spent 5 days there, and we could have easily spent 5 more - at least thats how we felt.
you filled up almost the entire frame here, so many things to see and enjoy
