Broad view of the Forum and Rome center. It was a beautiful day ... and I was surrounded by Rome. All the years in history class, and I am now really here. Just left of this scene lies the Coliseum, wonderful. There is a photograph in every direction.

A classic view that has been exceptionally well photographed. Pin sharp and very well exposed. I love the variety of architectural styles against that magic blue sky.
Very well done - TFS.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hi David. The POV is very effective making the structures tower above us. The light is exceptional and the sharpness faultless.A very good result. Regards. Klaudio.

Fine depth of field view of Rome for the Forum temple ruin up close then the later modern immense building behind.
I use to know the name of this temple and the other Forum pieces, because I memorized them for my university Roman history final exam. But then that was many, many moons ago. Dr. Pratt encouraged us to visit Italia and stroll the length of the Appian way, stopping periodically to sip Pepsi Cola. It is still on my list of "to dos".
Thanks for the memories, or at least from books,
