This is the underground level of the Colosseum, also called hypogeum, where they were staying gladiators and animals before the fight.

Incredible to think of the history and the bloodshed that this place has seen, and you done a great job of capturing both faces of this famous location, both the well known upper seating, and the darker underground.
All the best

I have never seen a photo of the Colosseum from this pov. It is very interesting but also dreadful too. What a terrible place it must have been for the gladiators and animals. Their hearts must have been full of fear. You handled the flat light well and the sharpness allows us to appreciate the textures of the stonework.
