Ponte Cavour

Ponte Cavour is a bridge in Rome, linking piazza del Porto di Ripetta to lungotevere dei Mellini, in the Campo Marzio and Prati rioni. It also links the area around Piazza Cavour to the area around the Ara Pacis in the Campus Martius.
Around 110 metres long and designed by the architect Angelo Vescovali with five arches and travertine facings, it was built between 1896 and 1901 to replace the temporary 1878 passerella di Ripetta. It opened on 25 May 1901 and is named after Camillo Benso, conte di Cavour, one of the pioneers of Italian unification.

Ciao Romano,al primo impatto sembra decisamente sottoesposta e priva di contrasto,un peccato perche' il panorama e' stupendo e c'e' pure un cielo meraviglioso,perfetto per riempire la composizione,ricorda i quadri olandesi fumosi e opachi del 600....complimenti in ogni caso e buona Domenica,Luciano

could do with a few rays here in on the south coast of England, so cold and dull this last few weeks. Shots like this brighten my days though. A glorious composition with such exquisite architectural detailing that is all the more compelling when captured in this type of light. It adds atmosphere and brings out the beauty of this place so wonderfully. Captivating imagery!

The light seems perfect for this type of picture with lovely detail and colours. The billowing clouds makes the sky as interesting as the architecture giving a very well balanced composition. Very well taken.

la vista ed il cielo drammatico sono stupendi e quello che hai fatto con la tua composizione e con un solo raggio di sole e' meraviglioso. La prospettiva ci orienta superbamente verso elementi attraenti ed intriganti, la profondita' e la chiarezza, in condizioni d' illuminazione affascinanti ma difficilissimi da gestire, sono eccellenti. Mi piacciono tantissimo i colori e come nuvole, luce ed ombra danno un senso di mozione scivolante. Magnifico lavoro, complimenti e grazie!

Hai un grande dono per catturare la magia e la bellezza dei ponti di Roma, e sempre con tale splendida architettura in giro per le scene. Mi piace il gioco della luce da parte del ponte qui, dando il titolo molto adatto alla vostra immagine. Un bel cielo troppo attiva, ben fatto!

Romano,
this tiny little bit of sun livens up the place and the whole image. It is incredible how small amount of light can influence the scenery! I like the dark surroundings as well - they provide very good contrast for the radius. Great sharpness on the buildings and interesting sky!

Ponte Cavour famoso e storico con splendidi dettagli architettonici e la combinazione di colori di una giornata nuvolosa.
Tu sei un ottimo fotografo e non hai bisogno di un raggio di sole nelle foto. Essi sono bellissimi comunque!!!!

Bonjour Romano
un petit rayon de soleil permet de nous offrir cette belle carte postale de ce pont et des environs; le soleil en Italie est plus présent que chez nous....le ciel de contraste ajoute un plus non négligeable

Again you have used the elements so competently to great advantage with prominent stone bridge being the main focal of interest adding the strength to this shot. The clarity is fine, awesome detail and a stand out image with such dramatic sweep of the clouds hightened by the subtle shades of greyish tones. Extremely nice piece of photo works, Congrats.
