Photographer's Note
Its very common to see artists or art students sitting around and painting or drawing in Rome and Paris. This young lady was sitting in front of Santa Maria in Trastevere, one of the oldest churches in Rome.
This church is famous for having interesting mosaics, which can only be seen illuminated if you throw in a coin.
I cropped the shot a bit and resized.

Hi Yvonne,
At the outset, I like the subject. Even as a part-time artist), I am drawn to street artists and to art students at work. What I would suggest in a scene like this is to show all three: the artist, the art work, and the scene (i.e. subject) of the artist.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hello Yvonne
an intimate candid shot, the artist is completely unaware of your presence. Looking down at her like this gives one a feeling of participating in her drawings.
charming and pleasing to look at.
have a good weekend
